KEROC owns and develops wind and photovoltaic assets and oversees them over the long term.
Renewable energy is one of KEROC’s longstanding activities. The Group participates in project development and financing, followed by oversight of construction and operations, alongside the relevant technical partners.
Initial analysis covers the site, land arrangements, permits, grid connection and expected production. Financing and contracts are reviewed against construction, operating and maintenance costs.
Once installations are in service, oversight covers equipment availability, production, maintenance contracts and relations with operators and landowners. It also helps anticipate interventions and equipment renewal. These matters remain under review after commissioning and throughout operations.
Wind projects accounted for a significant part of KEROC’s early energy activities. Oversight brings together production conditions, contractual obligations and turbine condition. Maintenance and technical renewal decisions are considered at the level of each installation.
Photovoltaics complement the wind activity, particularly on agricultural and other operating buildings. Analysis considers the roof, layout, grid connection and operating conditions. The solar installation must remain compatible with the building’s use.
Bringing renewable generation closer to local consumption can meet the needs of an agricultural or industrial site. This depends on available installations, connection arrangements and electricity uses, and is assessed for each project.
